Maggie joined George Law in 2018 alongside her husband and law partner, Derrick George, bringing with her a unique blend of executive-level business experience and legal acumen. After graduating from James Madison College at Michigan State University, she began her career in Washington, D.C., working within the legislative branch of the federal government before transitioning into the private sector. She spent over a decade with a Fortune 500 company, rising to a Director-level position where she honed the leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills that now distinguish her as a formidable advocate.

Despite her success in the corporate world, Maggie felt a strong calling to the legal profession. While raising a young family and helping to scale George Law, she pursued her law degree at Wayne State University Law School, where she excelled academically and developed a focus in criminal law and civil litigation, including defamation and business disputes. During law school at Wayne State University, Maggie clerked for Chief Judge Denise Page Hood of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. This prestigious experience sharpened her legal analysis and reinforced her commitment to practicing with integrity, precision, and purpose.
